Marjan K. Vayghan.

A practice spanning spaces, materials and communities. Creating worlds through art, writing, performance and curation.

A place where parallel practices meet.

Marjan’s work has never belonged to a single discipline. Art becomes clothing; clothing becomes performance; performance becomes community, and community becomes activism. Travel turns into research, plants into collaborators, books into spaces — and technology into one more material for building worlds.

Marjan K. Vayghan is an artist, writer and curator based in Los Angeles. Her public work moves across installation, performance, film, fashion and civic practice.

In Legacy Crates, shipping containers become intimate environments of light, carpet and sound. Artbound’s documentation offers an entry into a practice shaped by memory, refuge and connection.

Across forms. Across worlds.

Her work appears in institutional exhibitions, public performance archives and film credits. Journey Through The Senses identifies her as Curator of Fashion, connecting textiles, poetry and wearable memory.

Her public civic record includes the 2017 LAX travel-ban protests and the return of her uncle Ali Vayeghan following federal court action. She is also depicted in Audrey Chan’s ACLU mural, The Care We Create.

A public archive, with care.

This site connects existing public documentation. Original photographs, videos and articles remain with their publishers. Sources are credited; uncertainty stays visible.
