Artist of Color Flash Mob Intervention at Hammer Museum

Artists or Color Flash Mob stages interventions in response to the continual gross underrepresentation of Artists or Color in the mainstream art world. The first Artist of Color Flash Mob intervention occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Hammer Museum UCLA. Participants included the following (in last name alphabetical order): Chelle Barbour, Aliza Bejarano, Lili Bernard, Teresa Flores, Yrneh Gabon, Claudia Huiza, Keriene Muizz, William Mwazi, Karl Petion, Kayla Salisbury, Marjan Vayghan and Paul Von Blum. The founders-organizers of Artist of Color Flash Mob are artists Chelle Barbour (Director of Autonomie Projects) and Lili Bernard (Founder of BAILA: Black Artists in Los Angeles).
